Job description
The ordering of all food Stuffs for Cromore Halt.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the running of the kitchen and kitchen team.
- Accepting and signing for food deliveries.
- Preparation of food dishes.
- The cooling and serving of all food dishes.
- Ensuring other staff are carrying out their duties and responsibilities e.g. Chefs. Kitchen porters.
- The general running of the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Over seeing that the kitchen is clean and equipment is left ready for use. Adhering to the criteria on Cleaning Schedule.
- Ensuring that all staff comply with company policy in relation to cleaning and preparation of all dishes.
- Stock control and stock management and maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Monitor and control stock and endeavour to eliminate wastage and pilferage.
- Ensure staff are aware of company policy in relation to cleaning and stock control.
- Monitor and control staff time keeping.
- Maintain amicable working relations with all staff members.
- To ensure all team members have basic and intermediate hygiene qualifications.
- Responsible for training and re-training of staff.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience in a Head Chef role.
