D.R.I.V.E. Project Officer

To take responsibility for the planned delivery and implementation of the Neighbourhood Revewal D.R.I.V.E. (Developing Relationships in Vulnerable Environments) project. Liaise with the project Coordinators within the areas of deprivation to ensure full programme delivery primarily the Glens Estate, Hospital Lane Estate and Coolessan estate.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for managing the budget in line with programme outcomes
- Coordinating the initiatives within the programme plan for the specific age group (5-13 years)
- Link with other agencies to ensure no duplication of services and signposting to existing services
- To participate in appropriate training opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Third level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Social Science, Community Development or Youth work with at least 2 years experience in community and youth programme planning or five years experience in youth and community work
