Electrical Automation Engineer (Pythom & IoT)


Job description

We are seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer with strong programming expertise to support the development of advanced automation and IoT systems. This role requires a high level of proficiency in Python and hands-on experience integrating software with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing electrical automation and control systems.
  • Developing robust production-level applications in Python.
  • Integrating IoT devices, sensors and communication systems.
  • Troubleshooting and optimising system performance.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven professional experience in Python programming.
  • Demonstrable experience developing software for automation or control systems.
  • Experience working with loT devices and system integration.
  • A strong understanding of electrical automation principles.
  • Ability to work independently on technically complex tasks.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with PLC's, SCADA and industrial automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP).
  • Familiarity with embedded systems or edge devices.
