Project Co-ordinator
Job description
St. Columb’s Park House are seeking a Project Co-ordinator for our heritage project, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project includes uncovering the history of St Columbs Hospital, the connection to St Columbs Park House as a nurses residence, developing an archive, walking tour and the wider history associated with the parklands.
Responsibilities
- Support the History Group and volunteers in the research & development of key women of the house, their medical connections the history of the hospital & nursing home and the connection to the wider City history and narrative.
- Support the Artist in residence in the development of the key characters and delivering the storytelling related to these characters.
- Design and develop a touring archive that will tell the untold story of key women and their medical legacies.
- Building partnerships with key stakeholders, local community groups and organisations to ensure wider community engagement.
- Procure digital hardware and software to support the transfer of research online.
- Monitor and evaluate the Project and collate data accordingly.
- Promote and communicate what the project is about within the local Council area to ensure widest possible reach.

- This position will focus on the co-ordination, design and delivery of all the elements of The Hidden Healers.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 2 years' experience of working/volunteering in the community and voluntary sector, engaging a diverse range of people in local community events.
- Proven communication skills ensuring that local history and heritage is accessible to a wider audience.
Desirable Skills
- Proven skills in compiling and archiving historical information and artifacts.
