Quality Manager


Job description

Responsible for the full implementation of the Quality Management Systems at Ballygarvey Eggs. Position is Monday - Friday hours can be flexible to suit applicant.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Quality Manual and systems to the required BRCGS standard.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding any quality or food safety issues.
  • Communicate with the supply base to ensure compliance with supplier approval criteria.
  • Train staff on quality standards on the production floor.
  • Daily walk rounds to check that all is correct.
  • Reporting to the Technical Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience with BRCGS audits and a knowledge of the BRCGS Food Safety Standard preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 3rd level qualification.
  • Ability to plan and organise to ensure deadlines are met.
