Job description
Responsible for the full implementation of the Quality Management Systems at Ballygarvey Eggs. Position is Monday - Friday hours can be flexible to suit applicant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Manual and systems to the required BRCGS standard.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding any quality or food safety issues.
- Communicate with the supply base to ensure compliance with supplier approval criteria.
- Train staff on quality standards on the production floor.
- Daily walk rounds to check that all is correct.
- Reporting to the Technical Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience with BRCGS audits and a knowledge of the BRCGS Food Safety Standard preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 3rd level qualification.
- Ability to plan and organise to ensure deadlines are met.
