Job description

The Clinical Nurse Educator for Cardiology will join the existing team in RBHSC providing education and training to all nursing staff within Paediatric Cardiology in Northern Ireland. The Clinical Nurse Educator will ensure the high quality of education provision within Paediatric Cardiology by delivering regular mandatory training along with specialised training programmes. The post holder will liaise with Nurse Educator colleagues in Children’s Health Ireland as well as working collaboratively with clinician’s, academic partners, and professional stakeholders to ensure education for nursing staff in Paediatric Cardiology aligns with national frameworks, professional standards, and service needs.

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse on Part 1 (Children’s nursing) of the NMC Register.
