Bangor - Admin Building. To assist the Senior Manager to provide leadership and have managerial responsibility for a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of a high quality service to achieve safe and effective care and improved health and well-being outcomes for people living permanently in Nursing and Residential Homes. There will be a strong focus on the promotion of Adult social care governance and ensuring a high quality of service provision to all the service users for whom we commission and provide care.

Responsibilities

• In order to achieve the Trust objectives, the post-holder will manage multi-disciplinary permanency team.
• The post holder will be responsible for working with key stakeholders across sectors and will be involved in improving pathways and systems in relation to adult social care governance.
• This will involve working across the HSC Trust boundaries to ensure timely, safe and effective care and putting in place systems to measure outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a nursing post Band 6 or above.
• Can demonstrate managerial experience.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working within the independent care home sector.
