Job description

Working on general activities in growing mushrooms. Carry out quality checks on raw material to ensure quality of products meets company quality specifications. Manual work including; power washing, lifting crates of mushrooms, moving full pallets, wrapping boxes/crates. Operate forklift, filling head and conveyors where trained and authorised to do so.

Responsibilities

• Complete relevant paperwork, production records and quality checks.
• Observe good housekeeping within the area and general surroundings.
• Adhere to Company General Policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health Safety.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by senior management. Full training will be given in business procedures and operating protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to carryout manual work including; power washing, lifting crates of mushrooms, moving full pallets, wrapping boxes/crates.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in the Mushroom Industry.
