Our services are centred around the individual needs of each person and are delivered throughout Northern Ireland. The Role of Deputy Payroll Manager is to assist the Payroll Manager in the processing of a busy Payroll Department. This role will assist in overseeing payroll procedures, accurate payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and acting as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries. Providing leadership to payroll staff in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 3rd level qualification: RQF level 6 - Degree or equivalent or Part -Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) or Part qualified accountant with recognised accounting body e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
- AND Minimum 3 years specialist payroll experience managing large scale payroll for over 250plus employees.
- OR RQF level 5 qualification AND Minimum of 5 years specialist payroll experience managing large scale payroll for over 250PLUS employees.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations around payroll & pensions including auto enrolment, sickness, maternity & other family leave.
- Experience of statutory payroll returns incl. RTI, FPS etc.
- Knowledge of pension regulatory requirements.
