Facilities Manager


Job description

The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Cedar properties are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and fit for purposes. This includes office premises, training/resource centres, residential care settings, and supported living environments. The role spans a diverse property portfolio comprising buildings owned by the charity, housing associations, and private landlords where Cedar staff have a base location.

Responsibilities

  • The postholder will ensure high standards of health and safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance, and operational efficiency while supporting developmental work to improve premises and support service delivery for staff and service users.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety and statutory compliance requirements with a relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in facilities or property management across multiple sites.
  • Experience managing contractors and service providers.

Further Information

Location - 1 Ravenhill Reach, Belfast. Salary - Starting on £43,024 per annum (pro rata).
