Powder Coating Operator
Job description
Our client in Ballymoney are seeking reliable and hardworking Powder Coating Operators to join their team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Preparing parts for the powder coating process, including shot blasting and orbital sanding.
- Loading cages with parts for dipping and priming.
- Emptying cages after dipping and hanging parts on the powder coating line.
- Removing coated parts, carrying out visual quality checks, and forwarding them for final inspection and packing.
- Packing parts onto stillages and assisting with dispatch.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience using hand tools such as abrasive wheels and drills.
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices within a manufacturing setting.
- Basic maths skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment accurately.
- Willingness to undertake a varied and physically demanding role.
