Job description

We are seeking a reliable and professional medical receptionist to play a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Jobs will include directing front desk operations, greeting patients face to face or on the telephone scheduling/cancelling appointments and provide administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, manage appointment scheduling using the practice clinical system, administrative tasks, provide support to the wider healthcare team as needed

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • 5 GCSEs grade C or above to include maths & English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills good telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience working in a GP practice or healthcare setting, Knowledge of medical terminology Strong IT skills
