We require a Kitchen Porter reporting to Head Chef. The hours are full time, shift patterns available ranging from early mornings, daytime, and evenings. Shifts primarily 4/5 days out of 7. Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
• Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
• Carrying out any other duties set by senior chefs in the kitchen.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Be able to work independently.
• Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

Desirable Skills

• Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
