Responsibilities

  • Work to guidelines for hygienic slaughter, dressing and evisceration of animals.
  • Maintain proper knowledge and use of slaughter equipment, including knives.
  • Working on a production line.
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Must be physically able to do heavy lifting.
  • Training will be provided.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience desirable but not essential.
