Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment that nurtures every child's development.
• Lead the delivery of the Developmental Programme and support a dedicated early years team.
• Use your strong knowledge of child development to identify early learning needs and provide tailored support to each child's individual needs.
• Accurately observe, record, and report on children's progress, creating individual action plans and reviews.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• QCF Level 3 CCLD or play work or equivalent.
• Experience of leading a team, supervising and delegating.
• Experience of observations, assessments and record keeping.
• Full current driving licence and access to a car are essential as travel will be required to Horizon Services in Larne and training. Applicants with a disability that prevents them from driving may provide evidence of alternative mobility.

Further Information

Salary: £28,928 - £36,527 per annum pro rata. Work Time: Term Time, to be confirmed. The successful applicant for this post will be required to undertake an enhanced Access NI with Child Barred List check. Social Services vetting is also required.
