The Management Committee of Eglinton Community Pre-School is looking to hire a dedicated and passionate Pre-school leader to join the team starting September 2026. The successful candidate will lead the day to day running of the pre-school, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for for all children in line with the vision of the group.. While taking lead responsibility for safeguarding and supporting children with SEN.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum QCF level 5 Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development.
• Previous experience working in an early years setting.

Desirable Skills

• Strong leadership skills.
• Good communication skills.
• BA Early Childhood Studies Degree.
• Previous senior leadership experience in early years education setting.
• Training in Child Protection and Safeguarding.
• First Aid training.
• Relevant training in observation and curriculum planning.
• Understanding of Social Services Minimum Standards.
• Knowledge of Health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a team.
