Scheme Co-Ordinator


Job description

As Scheme Co-ordinator you will promote the independence, dignity, security, privacy, confidentiality, rights and wellbeing of our customers in independent living. You will also be responsible for supporting our tenants to lead the lives they choose as independently as possible, signposting and working closely with other agencies. This role have the most direct impact in our communities and on the lives of the people we support. We will need you to be flexible in order to meet customers' needs including occasional evening work. The role will require some reasonable travel to cover neighbouring schemes for e.g. holiday cover so you should be able to travel to meet the requirements of the post without relying on public transport and apply a flexible, smart approach to delivery that will demonstrate that things can be done sustainably and be able to respond to out-of-hours emergencies when required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with our tenants and ensure their support needs are responded to efficiently and effectively in line with support plans.
  • You will work as a team with neighbouring Co-ordinators and work flexibly in this area as required.
  • Keep accurate and up to date records, making full use of ICT opportunities available to deliver an efficient and high standard service within agreed timescales.
  • Encourage and support our tenants to establish and maintain positive relationships with their family and friends and engage in activities which help them to achieve their personal goals.
  • Arrange and promote social activities (including fundraising activities) in the scheme and co-ordinate the use of the communal lounges and guest room to enhance the quality of life of our tenants.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good understanding of what great customer experience looks like.
  • Digitally connected with previous experience of working with computer packages.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and ability to work out of hours when required.

Desirable Skills

  • Hold a full driving license, be a car owner and insured to include business use to provide cover at neighbouring schemes, as and when needed.
  • A practical understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, confidentiality and support plans.

Further Information

Salary: £26, 935.76 - £30,244.36 pro rata per annum
