Food Technician (Food and Nutrition) based in Holywood.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, equipment and materials for practical lessons and exams.
• Practical support & resource.
• Set up, test, demonstrate and clear away classroom resources in line with agreed schemes of works and lesson.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety practices.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills (spreadsheets and inventory systems helpful).

Desirable Skills

• Experience in food preparation, catering, school technician or similar environment.
