Join a multi-award-winning manufacturing business as HR & Training Officer on a 12-month contract. Working as part of a busy HR team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across employee relations, recruitment, training, wellbeing initiatives and payroll support, helping to drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities
- Assist with absence management, employee relations and performance processes
- Prepare HR documentation, contracts and reports
- Maintain HR systems and employee records
- Support payroll preparation and benefits administration
- Coordinate training and development activities
- Assist with HR projects and policy updates
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Third level qualification in HR or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law and best practice
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
