Job description

Full time and part time posts available, to provide care and companionship to a 13 year old boy who has disabilities. We are looking for a caring, energetic and reliable person to support a fun 13 year-old boy in Limavady. This is not a typical care job, it’s about building a positive relationship, supporting activities, getting out into the community and helping a young person enjoy life to the fullest.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support in the home and local community.
• Support with structured activities and routines.
• Use a calm, consistent approach to manage agitation.
• Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Ensure the child’s safety and wellbeing at all times.
