Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants to cover flexible rotas in Castlerock, Macosquin, Articlave, Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart and Ballymoney. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy.

• General tidy round leaving all areas clean and safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Previous paid caring experience

Further Information

We work a 4/3 rota pattern - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The morning rotas begin at 07:00 and finish at 14:30; afternoon rotas begin at 15:00 and finish at 18:30 and the put to bed rotas begin at 19:00 and finish at 23:00.
