Job description

NWCare is one of the leading providers of domiciliary care in Northern Ireland, serving the community for well over 50 years. We are recruiting home care assistants to cover teas in Carrickmore. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. We work a 4/3 rota pattern - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The tea rotas begin at 15:00 - 18:30.

Responsibilities

• Care in the community.
• Personal care.
• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
