Job description

We are recruiting for a Cook based at Twisel Lodge, Holywood.

Responsibilities

• The Cook provides meals, snacks and refreshments for residents with a range of needs in a small residential home.
• They will prepare meals in line with individual resident care plans and be responsible for health and safety within the kitchen.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate CPD certified.
• 6 months experience of working within a similar environment.
• Understanding of responsibilities under HSAW Act, COSHH and Infection Control.
• Awareness of the needs of people with learning and physical disabilities.
• Ability to prepare and cook a healthy and varied diet to meet the needs and preferences of residents.

Location: Twisel Lodge, Holywood 19A Church Avenue, Holywood, BT18 9BJ. Hours: Days 6 hours per day x 5 days per week Monday Friday flexibility on these days would be considered.
