Community care assistants provide care to clients living in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Our community care assistants will provide a high standard of safe and effective care to clients living in their own home.
• Report any concerns or changes to senior management.
• Register with Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
• Personal care.
• Companionship.
• Preparing meals.
• Light Cleaning.
• Assist with bedtime routine.
• Medication management.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must have a clean driving licence and access to a car for business purposes.
• Full training will be provided.

Further Information

Every new employee will have a shadowing period with a senior care assistant until they feel confident in their new role.
