Park Attendant
Job description
To carry out a range of general and specific tasks associated with the daily operational requirements of the Parks Service. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.
Responsibilities
- Delivery and operational supervision of services across various sites associated to Parks, Countryside and Outdoor Recreation and enforcement of appropriate Council Byelaw legislation applicable to the Service.
- Supervision of the general public and bone fide users of Council amenities including large events, customer assistance, inspection of permits, tickets, site bookings and the reporting of misuse of council property.
- Assist in the promotion of the Parks Service through the delivery of annual activity programmes and special events designed to increase participation levels and raise service profile of the council’s parks, water and outdoor recreation amenities.
- Assist with the delivery of quality customer focussed parks, water recreation, marina and campsite services.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Applicants must have a full Current Category B licence.
- Applicants must provide specific and personal examples of having at least 1 years relevant experience in a private/commercial/agricultural or public sector operational service.
Further Information
Location: Based at Dungannon Park but may on occasions be required to work at another location to meet the needs of the service. Casual, as and when required, post also available.
