Job description
This role supports Housing Rights in achieving its vision and strategic objectives by contributing to the delivery of its digital development and income diversification strategies. It involves providing digital communications support, working collaboratively to enhance public donations through online channels, and delivering professional communications to both corporate and individual donors. The role also plays a key part in income generation by promoting and supporting the sale of training and events.
Responsibilities
- To assist Housing Rights to achieve its vision and deliver its strategic objectives by supporting the delivery of the organisation’s digital and income diversification strategies. In particular:
- Providing digital communications support to the digital development and income diversification strategies as outlined below;
- Working in partnership to support public donations via digital means and with colleagues to provide professional communications support to both corporate and public donors;
- Supporting income generation through the sales of income generating training and events.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a digital communications role which contributes directly to an organisation's income generation services.
- Experience of using design tools e.g. Canva to produce professional materials for a range of stakeholders to effectively communicate an organisation's strategic priorities.
- Experience in using a range of digital communication tool, for example, videos in a professional capacity (i.e. on behalf of an organisation).
Desirable Skills
- Relevant digital or communication qualification.
- Experience of implementing communications and social media strategies.
- Experience of identifying and assisting in the implementation of new content strategies using new social media platforms to attract new audiences.
- Experience in using digital tools for the purposes of income generation e.g. Ticket tailor, JustGiving etc.
- Experience of using data analytics to inform content development and promotion / marketing strategies.
