Maghera Developments are seeking a Buyer to join our Modular Operations team. As Company Buyer, you will support the commercial team in procuring goods and services for on-going jobsites alongside supporting the accounts payable team with allocation of purchase orders and stock. Responsibilities

• Managing material purchasing, agreeing rates with suppliers & monitoring lead-in times for education sites
• Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
• Supporting contract administration and procurement processes
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients under the guidance of senior Quantity Surveyor
• Appointing work to subcontractors
• Contributing to project meetings

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) Grade A-C
• Basic understanding of construction materials
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Competence in Microsoft Office and an interest in developing knowledge of construction software

Desirable Skills

• Some industry experience, ideally through placement or graduate-level work, though not essential
