Our Housing Apprenticeship will be the first step on your career path to becoming a Housing Officer. A Housing Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of housing services, tenant satisfaction, and organisational compliance. Responsibilities
- Assist with allocation of properties in accordance with the Rules of the Housing Selection Scheme and the Association’s Policies and Procedures.
- Assist with the effective management of voids in accordance with the Association’s policies and procedures, including liaison with the property services team and the promotion of difficult to let stock in order to minimise rental loss etc.
- Record and assist with cases of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in accordance with the Association’s Anti-social Behaviour Policy and Procedure.
- Working closely with the other members of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs (A-C) including Mathematics, ICT and English or Equivalent (BTEC Level 1-2).
- Experience in Microsoft packages.
