The Role; Within Support Services there are 26 supported living services across 4 regions, managed by 4 Regional Managers and 20 Registered Service managers supported by a Positive Behaviour Support Manager and a Participation and Engagement Manager. As Regional Manager you have overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and development of our Causeway services for people with a learning disability and one service for older people in Greenisland, ensuring the highest possible quality of care and housing related support to achieve our Mission.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Leadership Team to contribute to the delivery of Triangle’s strategic priorities.
- Implement and monitor the delivery of the Supported Living scorecard against the key performance indicators in your area, raising any matters of concern with the Director of Support Services.
- Participate in the review and development of organisational policies and procedures ensuring these are regularly updated to comply with new legislation, best practice and changing internal and external policy.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes and developments within the sector and bring suggestions regarding innovate approaches and new delivery models to the Supported Living Managers meeting for discussion and implementation.
- Complete and review the business continuity plan for the services in your area ensuring they are updated in line with any emerging risks.
- Maintain the appropriate numbers of suitably skilled and experienced staff to deliver services in your area, ensuring staff are trained in relation to their role and responsibilities and work in partnership with the relevant departments involved.
- Review and respond to information from audits, inspections, and surveys, implementing any recommendations and update the quality management system.
- Carry out monthly/quarterly audits of areas identified in the audit schedule which contribute to the quality of services and to the overall compliance of the Organisation.
- Lead in the development of service budgets with the finance department. Monitor financial accounts reports monthly for your services and take corrective actions when required to ensure services are sustainable.
- Lead in the development of new supported living services from the planning to delivery in partnership with the housing team and the relevant Trust area in your area.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A professional social work qualification and be registered on the appropriate part of the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) register, without condition OR
- A first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register OR
- An allied health profession registered with the Health Professions Council OR
- QCF Level 5 Diploma Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Adult Management) Northern Ireland and Wales.
- A minimum of eight years’ practice experience in any health or social care setting which must include at least four recent years’ operational management experience (e.g. Registered Manager or above) in health and social care.
- Knowledge and understanding of the legislative and regulatory frameworks applicable to the supported housing and health and social care sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of positive risk management and positive behaviour support within service provision balanced against safeguarding.
- Proven record of delivering excellent person-centred outcome focused services.
- A full, current driving licence and use of a car which is insured for business use OR Can demonstrate mobility to carry out the functions of the job and have the flexibility to work at multiple locations?
Desirable Skills
- RVQ level 6 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership or equivalent in a related health and social care field.
- Previous experience working with adults with a learning disability/complex need.

Regional Manager (Causeway Services). The Package; We have a permanent full-time Regional Manager post based in the Ballymoney area. Salary scale is Band 10 Level 1 - 4 (£60,765 - £63,960 per annum) Some of the benefits include: 33 days annual leave, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 40 days (Includes public holidays) Enhanced Employer Pension Contribution (6% Employer/ 4% Employee) Health Cash Plan.
