Operations Manager ROI
Job description
The Residential Operations Manager will oversee day to day ancillary service delivery, facilities management & campus coordination in partnership with the local management team. The postholder ensures that the people we support receive high quality, person centred care, and that the service operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Inspire’s values and organisational policies. This role supports the statutory responsibilities of the designated Person in Charge (PIC). The Residential Operations Manager works closely with the PICs, the Assistant Director, and the wider team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the people we support. Responsibilities
- Line management of the ancillary staff team, including domestic, maintenance and general operatives across the campus of services.
- Oversee routine operational management household functioning, supplies, maintenance requests, and logistical coordination.
- Work in close partnership with the PICs to align daily operational work with regulatory compliance plans.
- Escalate issues promptly to the Assistant Director, especially any safeguarding, risk, health, or behavioural concerns.
- Support the implementation of risk management strategies developed with the PICs and the Assistant Director.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable accommodations considered where applicable).
- A qualification in business management; administration and/or leadership at QQI Level 6 or above.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in service administration: Record keeping; Scheduling; Budget or resource oversight; Reporting and operational documentation.
- Experience participating in audits, quality reviews, or continuous improvement initiatives.
