Job description

We are recruiting Grounds Workers to carry out a wide range of external maintenance and associated works across our Lisburn and Castlereagh area.

Responsibilities

• Grounds & Landscaping Works
• Tree & Vegetation Works
• General Construction / External Works
• Fencing works
• Reporting & Administration
• Grass cutting, strimming, edging and general garden maintenance
• Hedge trimming, shrub pruning and vegetation control
• Weed control
• Litter picking and removal of debris from communal areas and property clear outs
• Tree line maintenance including low level pruning and branch removal
• Cutting small trees and carrying out stump removal
• General Construction External Works
• Maintaining and building pathways, kerbs, gullies and hardstanding areas
• Fencing works
• Digging works (manual and or mechanical)
• Chimney works (where required)
• Reporting & Administration
• Updating PDA devices with accurate completion notes and job details

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to carry out physical outdoor work
• Ability to drive - full licence
• Willingness to follow health & safety procedures

Desirable Skills

• Experience desirable but not essential training can be provided
