Job description

We are looking for a kind, patient, and reliable individual to spend time with an elderly gentleman in their own home. Your main goal is to bring joy and comfort to their day. 2x Part Time Personal Care Assistants required for 4 hours per week. Hours allocated for Tuesday and Saturday 10:00 - 14:00. Access NI required

Responsibilities

• Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to the individual, actively listening to them and providing encouragement
• Personal Care: Provide minimal support with personal hygiene tasks within the home
• Daily Living Assistance: Assist with minimal household tasks such as preparing lunch
• Health Monitoring: Monitor the individuals' health status and report any changes or concerns to the employer or healthcare professionals
• Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual by identifying and addressing potential hazards or risks in the environment

• Previous care experience in a paid or voluntary capacity
