Foyle Hospice have an immediate vacancy for Staff Nurse. Band 5. They should be interested in the challenging but rewarding field of Specialist Palliative Care. Staff will be expected to work in any of the following areas: Inpatient Unit, Day Hospice and Integrative Care Clinic. Carry out all relevant forms of nursing care without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all relevant forms of nursing care without direct supervision.
• Ensure infection control compliance.
• May be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified and / or unqualified staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants must be on the NMC live register and have an up-to-date NMC revalidation.
• Have a minimum 2 year’s post registration experience, be flexible, good team member and have excellent communication skills.

Further Information

Temporary fixed term 12 months. Salary: Starting at £31,049 per annum pro rata. Work Time: To be confirmed, includes day and night duty shifts We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the above fixed term position and to create a waiting list for future vacancies.
