Job description
We are a successful and growing education company delivering high-quality services to schools and colleges across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our small, dynamic team. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will be at the heart of the business, supporting management, consultants, and the sales team. You’ll act as the first point of contact for clients while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, producing reports, and ensuring accuracy in everything they do. Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact, managing calls and emails
- Provide accurate information and guidance to clients and stakeholders
- Respond to enquiries and issue communications to prospective and existing clients
- Create, edit, and manage documents using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Carry out general administrative duties including filing, mailing, and records management
- Coordinate consultant bookings, including travel and accommodation arrangements
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Support event coordination, including attendee lists and client communication
- Maintain accurate customer records within CRM systems
- Update portals and respond to related queries
- Ensure all data is kept up to date and compliant
- Proofread reports, articles, and external content
- Ensure branding, layout, and formatting standards are met
- Support marketing activities and website updates as required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 2-3 years' administrative experience, ideally within an office or support role
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Desirable Skills
- Familiar with CRM Systems
