Administrative Assistant
Job description
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to both clinical and administrative staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Accuracy, organisation, and strong communication skills are crucial. A full job description can be requested from: recruit@ohrd.net.
Responsibilities
- Clerical and reception duties: answering phones, responding to emails, photocopying, filing, sorting, and distributing paperwork.
- Schedule clinics and appointments.
- Organise and maintain medical records.
- Type, proof-read, and distribute medical reports.
- Maintain manual and digital filing systems.
- Assist all staff with general administrative tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 4 GCSEs including English (grades A-C) or at least 2 years’ recent and consecutive experience in an admin/secretarial role.
- Proficient typing and document production skills.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
