Experienced Bookkeeper required for small construction industry business. You will be responsible for all bookkeeping duties on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis. This will include, but is not limited to: Sales and Purchase ledger, Payroll (weekly & monthly), bank reconciliation, quarterly VAT Returns, CIS payments, HMRC reporting and submissions, and general office administration duties.
Responsibilities
- SAGE Accounts and SAGE Payroll
- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Bank reconciliation
- CIS processing and reporting
- HMRC monthly submissions
- Quarterly VAT Return preparation and submission
- Weekly and monthly Payroll processing and year end duties
- Use of Microsoft Excel
- Data and record management
- Office administration
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Bookkeeping experience
- Computerised accounts and payroll experience (ideally SAGE)
- Experience of preparing and submitting VAT Returns
- Experience of processing and submitting CIS payment
- Experience of HMRC monthly reporting, submissions and payments
- Payroll experience
Further Information
Work Time: Fully flexible, 12-16 hours per week, to be confirmed. Opportunity for hybrid working.
