Job description

We are seeking a site-based Office Administrator to oversee daily administrative operations at our location in Central Belfast. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our site, supporting team management and ensuring efficient administrative processes. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and managing office tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth site operations
  • Oversee team management tasks, including scheduling and coordination of staff
  • Maintain organised filing systems for documentation related to operations, HR, and finance
  • Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as required
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and site activities efficiently

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles within a construction environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in human resources functions such as onboarding and employee records management is desirable
