The key role of the NPD Co-ordinator is to provide effective administrative support and coordination for the New Product Development (NPD) and Graphics teams, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives and the organisation’s overall strategic goals. The successful candidate will make the most of Greiner’s processes, systems, and tools to support project delivery while maintaining quality, safety, and company values. This role is centered on building strong relationships and working collaboratively to align NPD and Graphics with Sales and Operations teams through a well-coordinated, cross-functional approach. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across the full end-to-end development and implementation lifecycle of new products including costings, specifications, design, print decoration, materials, tooling, trials, bill of materials, sampling
  • Coordinate design, tooling and sampling activities to successful conclusion, supporting the development of investment cases and ensuring delivery within agreed budgets
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to build and maintain strong customer relationships, supporting the achievement of design expectations and enhancing the overall customer experience
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, robust data management and system integrity
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently
  • Contribute as a collaborative and positive team member, working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support customer trials and approved product design launches
  • Coordinate the receipt and timely processing of all non-direct print decoration formats including K3, In-Mould Labelling (IML) and labels
  • Liaise with design houses, customers, and printers as required including participation in pre-artwork meetings
  • Obtain customer approvals and purchase order numbers, maintaining accurate records throughout the process
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of procedures associated with the manufacture and control of K3 production specifications and their control
  • Prepare and process artwork related invoices
  • Maintain and update non direct print samples and scans
  • Actively participate in team meetings, discussions and cross functional collaboration
  • Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required
  • Comply with all housekeeping, hygiene and health and safety procedures, including maintaining 5S standards within work areas
  • Undertake any additional duties or projects as reasonably requested

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a role requiring daily use of IT systems and admin related tasks
  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of K3 and IML processes
  • Knowledge or experience within a New Product Development environment
  • Administrative experience within a creative or artistic setting
  • Artistic ability and creative flair
  • Experience working in a continuous improvement environment
  • Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG business
