Overview; We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented New Homes Inspector to join our team, preferred with site management or customer care background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting new residential properties meet all quality standards, building codes, and client specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction quality and meeting all building standards, with a keen eye for detail and analysis. The position is on a self-employed basis and suitable for those looking to develop their expertise within the property inspection industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of newly constructed homes at completion of build stage or after client purchase with report to emailed to client following our standard model.
• Assess compliance with building regulations, warrantee standards, and client requirements.
• Identify defects or inconsistencies in construction work and document findings accurately.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports highlighting issues and follow our inspection model.
• Maintain and operate own work diary to ensure appointments are fulfilled.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong analysis skills to evaluate construction quality against technical specifications and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail to identify even minor defects or deviations from plans.
• Good organisational skills and managing own diary.
