Job description

Project Worker based in Kirkubbin.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of DEEDS / SEEDS activities for people living with dementia and carers in community and group settings.
• Assist with the preparation, set-up and facilitation of sessions, workshops, events and activities.
• Provide respectful, person-centred support to older PWD and carers participating in the programme.
• Build positive relationships with participants and provide encouragement to reduce social isolation and improve confidence and wellbeing.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A third level qualification in a Health Social Science subject and 1 years experience working with vulnerable adult including people living with Dementia.
• Or:
• 3 years experience working with vulnerable adults including people living with Dementia.
