An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Skilled Grounds Workers to join a busy and well-established team in Derry. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties, delivering high-quality workmanship across varied projects within a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out groundswork and general construction works on both void and tenanted properties
• Complete works including kerbing, flagging, fencing, blockwork and concreting to a high standard
• Work as part of a team to deliver a professional, courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants
• Move, install, secure and handle materials safely, including loading and unloading as required
• Operate a range of hand tools, power tools and equipment appropriate to the task and site
• Ensure all work areas are left clean, tidy and safe at the end of each day
• Work under instruction to meet client requirements and project specifications
• Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure correct use of PPE at all times
• Complete and submit accurate site records and documentation, both electronic and paper-based, in line with contract requirements

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have recent relevant experience
• Strong background in groundswork and maintenance services
• Full driving licence
• Valid CSR Card
• Access NI Disclosure Check will be required for this position. A criminal record will not necessarily be a barrier to employment.
