The role requires and individual who can manage daily activities while fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Playgroup Provision seek additional finance opportunities.
• Lead & manage all aspects of the Playgroup including managing staff, controlling budgets, Planning, Teaching, developing.
• Develop and maintain all polices and procedures.
• Lead staff training and provide induction support to volunteers and students.
• Promote the vision and values of the Playgroup through the high standards.
• Communicate and promote learning through play, ensuring each child individual needs are meet
• You will work as part of our Playgroup team, providing leadership while developing and maintaining all policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Childcare Level 5 & Previous relevant experience in a Childcare setting
• Previous experience in Childcare or early education is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage groups of children.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to drive initiatives that foster a supportive learning environment.

Desirable Skills

• A genuine passion for working and understanding development needs.
