Quality Lab Technician
Job description
Client is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join their team based in Lisburn.
Responsibilities
- Timely completion of laboratory checks ensuring compliance to the Quality Plan and to Coca Cola standards.
- Set up and participate in sensory panels as per quality plan.
- To effectively manage non-conforming product including detention, root cause analysis, corrective action planning and timely release, with effective communication to Production Quality Food Safety Leads.
- Investigate consumer/customer complaints in a timely manner, engaging with cross functional team, identifying root causes and potential trends, with corrective action plans to drive improvement.
- Effectively communicate line/area performance driving right first-time culture.
- Complete metrology checks in-line with plant calibration programme.
- Support line trials and validations.
- Contribute to the development of the Coca Cola Quality System
- Conduct, Foods Safety & Health & Safety audits as per schedule.
- Complete other tasks as per business requirements.
- Active involvement in company programmes.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 4 GCSEs including Mathematics and English which must be at grade C or above, or equivalent, or 5 years industrial experience.
- Previous experience of Quality risk analysis/management.
- At least 6 months experience working in a Micro lab within a food/ drinks production environment.
