Forklift Operative Newtownards £12.97 - £14.64p/h (Days) Staffline Ireland is currently seeking a dayshift forklift/warehouse operative to join our client, a leading dairy manufacturer, on an initial temporary basis at their site in Newtownards. What we’re offering: Base pay rate of £12.97p/h (reviewed yearly) Additional £1.67p/h for every hour shunting Overtime paid after 37 hours worked Temporary to permanent opportunities available Role: Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the movement of goods withing a busy distribution warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Shunting duties (once trained)
• Loading of products onto various
• Preparing orders for despatch
• Checking products for defects
• Moving goods through the warehouse
• Reporting breakdowns, spillages, quality control issues

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Full driving licence (required for shunter training)
• Previous experience working nightshift positions preferred
• Previous warehouse/production experience preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment drugs & alcohol test
