Job description
As Transport Planner you will be the first point of contact for member bookings and enquiries, you will be required to accurately record details of all transport requests on a daily basis, and you will hold responsibility for maintaining an efficient and effective scheduling system through a web-based bespoke transport management system. We’re looking for someone who is calm under pressure, great with people, and loves keeping things organised to join our team.

- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, or equivalent, to include English and Mathematics.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (demonstrate experience of communicating effectively with others).
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Skills
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL Core) Qualification.
- Previous experience gained within the passenger transport sector.
- Community development interest and wider knowledge of rural issues.

CDM Community Transport is a registered charity headquartered in the heart of Mid Ulster, we have been providing affordable accessible transport services throughout the districts of Cookstown and Dungannon, operating with a mix of accessible minibuses and volunteer car drivers Our core team is made up of office staff, minibus drivers and volunteers who generously offer their time to enhance the services we deliver by providing a very unique one to one service. We are also supported by a number of volunteer car drivers.
