Day Care Support Workers - Bannvale Day Care Centre Craigavon MPA Healthcare are recruiting Day Care Support Workers on behalf of our clients in the Southern Trust Area. The Support Worker will work as part of a dedicated team within Day Services, meeting the assessed needs of adult service users with learning, physical, or sensory disabilities. This role is primarily center-based and focuses on providing compassionate, person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting the complex support needs of individuals with learning disabilities, including personal and intimate care and assistance with eating and drinking.
• Support individuals using a flexible transport service throughout the day.
• Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and review of individual and group support packages designed to enhance independence and quality of life.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months’ recent experience in a similar healthcare setting
• NISCC registered or willing to apply.
• Access NI check required. (completed through MPA)

Desirable Skills

• Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent).
