Job description
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Omagh’s leading manufacturing companies. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting Assembly Fitters to join a skilled team producing high quality equipment. Previous assembly or fitting experience is preferred, but applicants with strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills will also be considered. Experience from sectors such as agriculture, construction, vehicle mechanics, engineering, warehousing, or manufacturing is welcome.
Responsibilities
- Final assembly of machines.
- Health and Safety.
- Using hand and power tools safely.
- Fitting, aligning, and securing parts to exact tolerances.
- Carrying out quality checks and basic testing.
- Identifying and resolving assembly issues.
- Working with colleagues to meet production targets.
- Read and follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Awareness of Health & Safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in assembly, fitting, mechanics, manufacturing, engineering, construction, agriculture, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or machinery.
