DFC Work Experience - Trainee Production Operative
Job description
Production & packing of pork products. Handling (pork) meat/raw food products within a production line environment, cutting, slicing packing and boxing.
Responsibilities
- Follow company regulations regarding food hygiene & safety.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Assist with production work and other related tasks.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work in various temperature zones.
Further Information
This work experience opportunity is expected to last for 8 weeks and will require attendance of 25 - 30 hours per week. While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Those who are not receiving benefit are also welcome to participate. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed. Participants will also receive an incentive payment equivalent to £10/day to a maximum of £50/week.
