Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (Level 1) Trauma & Orthopaedics and MTU Bad 7 BHSCT Reporting to the Clinical Lead working in the specialist area of Trauma & Orthopaedic inpatients and Major Trauma Unit in RVH. Please visit www.jobs.hscni.net to see Job Description and Personnel Specification.

Responsibilities

• To act as an Advanced Practitioner demonstrating advanced Physiotherapy knowledge/skills and clinical reasoning to deal with complex cases within the field of Trauma & Orthopaedics Inpatients and Major Trauma Unit within the Belfast Trust.
• To carry a clinical caseload providing advice and guidance to other physiotherapy staff on complex cases.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 5 years post graduate clinical working with 3 years at band 6 within Trauma & Orthopaedics.
• Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• Experience in the application of splints, braces and spinal orthoses.
