Job description

Reporting to the Clinical Lead working in the specialist area of Trauma & Orthopaedics. The post holder will be expected to: Be responsible for the clinical management of Trauma and Orthopaedic patients within the Belfast Trust. Responsibilities

• To act as a Clinical Specialist demonstrating advanced Physiotherapy knowledge/skills and clinical reasoning to deal with complex cases within the field of Trauma and Orthopaedics.
• To carry a clinical caseload providing advice and guidance to other physiotherapy staff on complex cases.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy Studies.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.

Desirable Skills

• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
